Futurama new seasons !

In News on 24/06/2010 at 12:11 PM

Today is truly epic day for me 🙂 Australia has new minister, my exam is over, my favourite show: Futurama is back on the air and a party will be started next 2 hours 🙂

For those of you who did not know about Futurama, it is comedy animation shows created by Matt Groening. Futurama is essentially a workplace sitcom, the plot of which revolves around the Planet Express interplanetary delivery company and its employees, a small group that largely fails to conform to future society.Episodes usually feature the central trio of Fry, Leela, and Bender, though storylines centered on the other main characters are common (Copied from Wikipedia)

I liked Futurama over Family Guy and American Dad because of its “inside” and clever jokes. Besides this future sets and all of the crazy technology attract me more than normal, “in your face” life situation. Big thanks to Comedy Central 🙂 and Torrents as well 😉 (They already have had 2 episodes)

Lets me introduce you to some of main characters in the show and my favourite Bender with his catch phase: “Bite my shinny metal ass”

Australia’s new prime minister: Julia Gillard

In News on 24/06/2010 at 10:53 AM

As a person who has poor understanding about politics, i was surprised when Nova 100.3 announced the new Australia prime minister: Julia Gillard. Apparently, she is the first female prime minister in Australia. Congratulation on her success 🙂

As for the man: Kevin Rudd, he looked so lonely and hopeless in Ray Strange’s picture (Source: The Australian). Cheers up, mate ! If Julia Gillard is the first female prime minister, you can be the first Australia prime minister who trully applied woman equity 🙂
